Community Engagement

At Pacific Canbriam Energy, we recognize the impact of our operations on local populations. That’s why we prioritize open, ongoing dialogue to understand stakeholder priorities and explore how we can contribute to building strong, thriving communities.
Effective stakeholder engagement begins with active listening and relationship building. Before any project activity, we assess the area to identify potential impacts and engage early with local residents, landowners, Rights Holders, businesses and Indigenous communities, acknowledging their unique connection to the land. We provide clear project information, including mitigation strategies, and invite continuous feedback throughout the life cycle of our projects. This input is essential in shaping our plans. Our dedicated local community liaisons ensure consistent, meaningful connections.
We are committed to fostering a skilled local workforce, minimizing reliance on transient labour, and building long-term partnerships with communities. We actively support the recruitment, retention, and career advancement of qualified local individuals and businesses, driving economic growth in our operating regions. Our procurement practices prioritize local and Indigenous participation in our supply chain.
As part of our Social Investment program, we support projects that promote Education, Health and Wellbeing, Culture, and the Environment.
Do you have an organization in mind for our Social Investment program? We provide financial contributions and in-kind support that benefits communities and residents nearby our operations in alignment with our Social Investment criteria.
Submit your suggestion through our Engagement Portal to find out if your program is eligible.
We have partnerships with more than 40 local organizations to help build healthier and more resilient communities.
Our online stakeholder engagement platform makes it even easier for stakeholders to connect with us. Through this system, we can input feedback, track engagement, and respond quickly to issues or concerns.
