Life Saving Rules

In 2024, Pacific Canbriam Energy adopted Energy Safety Canada’s Life Saving Rules which provide workers with a common and consistent approach in the prevention of serious injuries and fatalities.

The Life Saving Rules allow for standardization, support, accountability, continuous improvement and shared learning across our company and industry, leading to safer worksites.

Safety Data Sheets

To ensure the safe handling and transportation of the products that we produce, below are detailed safety information sheets for each product:

Shared accountability, shared success

Our contract partners are vital to our success. We focus on strengthening our relationships with service providers, working together to share learnings and enhance operational performance through regular operational and safety reviews. By deepening our partnership with ComplyWorks, a global provider of compliance and risk management solutions, we continue to prioritize working with contractors who share our commitment to excellence in safe work planning and execution. Our focus includes reviewing contractor management systems and gaining insights into both leading and lagging indicator programs and performance.

ENSURING SAFE & RELIABLE OPERATIONS

We prioritize the safety of our people, the reliability of our operations, and the protection of the environment through Asset Integrity and Process Safety Management

Asset integrity management program

Our Asset Integrity Management Program is designed to maintain the safety, reliability, and performance of our infrastructure throughout its lifecycle. By closely monitoring key performance indicators—such as chemical injection rates, pipeline maintenance, corrosion prevention, and equipment inspections—we ensure our assets remain in excellent condition while preventing incidents and minimizing environmental impacts.

Process safety management

Our Process Safety Management approach focuses on identifying and mitigating potential risks to prevent major incidents. We use proven strategies, like barrier management, to layer multiple safeguards against hazards. These safeguards include systems to detect and respond to anomalies, prevent overpressure, and safely shut down equipment if needed. We continuously review and test these safety measures to ensure they remain effective.

ALWAYS PREPARED – EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT

Staying prepared takes teamwork, coordination and an effective response plan

By prioritizing training, testing, and continuous improvement, we strengthen our resilience and capacity to protect our people, the communities in which we operate, and the environment in emergency situations.
