Pacific Canbriam Energy began as a proudly Canadian company operating in Northeastern British Columbia, focused on natural gas production. Today, we are positioned to meet the growing global demand for reliable and responsibly produced energy.
Canbriam Energy is founded by a group of Canadian, British and American colleagues (who inspired the name Can-Bri-Am).
Canbriam initiates regional subsurface study across Montney formation in Northeastern B.C.
Backed by private equity investment, Canbriam builds land position through two deep rights farm-in arrangements and BC Government land sales, accumulating material position in the Montney play.
Initial horizontal drilling commences to test commercial viability of Montney play.
Canbriam produces Montney gas at commercial rates through 3rd party infrastructure while assessing economic merits of well results.
Canbriam approves building of first 50 mmcf/d gas plant.
Construction of 23 km water pipeline connecting Williston Lake to assets completed, securing water supply for future development.
Canbriam commissions first natural gas plant – b-24-h, handling 50 mmcf/d of natural gas and associated liquids.
Canbriam expands operations; opens office in Fort St John.
Canbriam completes Phase 1 and 2 of Altares b-72-a Natural Gas Processing Facility, bringing total processing capacity to 210 mmcf/d.
Canbriam commences construction of water treatment facility and water recycling hub.
Canbriam triples Montney land exposure through amalgamation of Suncor NE BC assets.
Canbriam initiates adding incremental 120 mmcf/d processing capability with line of sight to 330 mmcf/d total.
Canbriam acquired by Pacific Energy Corporation, an Integrated Energy Provider and a business group member of RGE. Singapore based RGE manages resource-based manufacturing companies with global operations, with a commitment to sustainable operations and community development.
Canbriam rebrands to Pacific Canbriam Energy Limited.
Pacific Energy positions Pacific Canbriam to supply natural gas to Woodfibre LNG for liquefication and transport to international markets.
Canbriam commissions Altares Processing Facility Phase 3, bringing total natural gas processing to 330 mmcf/d.
Pacific Canbriam Energy achieves Equitable Origin’s EO100™ Standard for Responsible Energy Development.

Pacific Canbriam Energy acquires additional stake in Montney region, representing a 26% increase in total acreage.
