Pacific Canbriam Energy is proud to announce the release of our 2024 Sustainability Report – a reflection of the meaningful progress we’ve made and our ongoing commitment to building a resilient, responsible future.
2024 was a landmark year for Pacific Canbriam Energy. We delivered record-setting operational performance while advancing our sustainability ambitions in ways that raise the bar for responsible energy development.
Highlights include:
- Best safety performance in company history: zero Total Recordable Injury Frequency (TRIF) or first aid incidents among employees.
- Phase 4 expansion of the Altares Natural Gas Processing Facility: safely completed with more than 103,000 hours worked and no recordable incidents, increasing production capacity and setting a new baseline for emissions performance.
- Equitable Origin EO100™ Standard re-certification: improved rating from B to B+, the highest score among Canadian industry peers.
- 99% of produced water recycled in our Completions Program.
- $18+ million invested in dormant site restoration to ensure responsible asset stewardship.
- 40+ partnerships with local community organizations, creating lasting regional impact.
- Thousands of native trees planted, with a target of more than 100,000 by 2025 in collaboration with Indigenous communities.
Looking ahead, we are continuing to plan for our longer-term corporate sustainability ambitions. This includes exploring electrification pathways, strengthening biodiversity protection, and advancing our emissions reduction strategies – all while maintaining our focus on safety, performance, and community engagement.
Our story is brought to life in this report not only through data and milestones, but also through the people of PCE. Their expertise, dedication, and collaborative spirit define who we are and drive what we achieve together.
At Pacific Canbriam Energy, we believe responsible energy development means striving for excellence in everything we do – today and for the future.
